The Japan Trilogy

Good day fellow vaporwave enthusiasts, and welcome to the The Japan Trilogy - a concept album that I created after obsessing over the genre for a year or so. Vaporwave is absolutely beautiful in the way that it makes
a e s t h e t i c
art out of internet culture and consumerism. If you are unindoctrinated then I highly recommend simply browsing through the 24/7 vaporwave radio stations on YouTube, or scrolling through the limitless playlists of retrowave and mallsoft on spotify to find your preference.

I cannot say that my debut EP is really anything special at all, as a lover of music I feel that such praise would be a wild lie, but I did have fun giving it a go, putting together samples, distorting them, and creating sounds. With more time to spare in the future I would love to learn more about DAW programs and make more entertaining pieces to combine with written work in some form. One song in particular "A Meeting with the Yakuza", from The Japan Trilogy - was used as background music during a live performance of the ERROR [singularity] story that Luke and I staged. The EP is by no means impressive as a whole product, I do love though that I made something like this, down to the artwork and all, and I do believe that when it is paired with a story, some of the songs can be very fitting and the music can even add something to the spoken word.

So have a little listen and see if you like it my friends, let me know if there is in fact any notable

to the track list, and if not then have a good laugh at a madman's attempt to make some form of vaporwave. Thank you for reading and have a nice day.
